Based on the fiddle music of Scotland and beyond, we explored playing traditional music in a group, with emphasis on harmonic integration and conversation for a variety of instruments.
We focused on the techniques that give traditional music its particular flavor, and using elements of language and dance, the group came together in sound.
The music was learned by ear. All musicianship levels joined, and we had strings, winds, percussion, and even pipes!! WHERE HAVE YOU ALL BEEN HIDING??
